Your Table Is Ready

The hardest table to get in New York right now is at the Minetta Tavern. It was already a madhouse right when it opened (which is why I made it part of my NY Foodie Photo Scavenger Hunt (hey that’s the 2nd time I linked to that today)) but then it got three stars from the New York Times, so your chances of getting a table there? Pretty slim to none.

Which is why this month’s banner, designed by our brilliant Lindy, puts you right inside. You don’t have to wait, you don’t have to call, you’re just there. Now if only your computer screen could serve you their “côte de boeuf” which, Frank Bruni calls: “a sublime hunk of glorious meat that you dream about hours later, pine for the next day and extol in a manner so rapturous and nonstop that friends begin to worry less about your cholesterol than about your sanity?” we’d all be in good shape. Still, we’ll take what we can get.
