Craig on Charlie Rose

The big day is here: THE SKELETON TWINS premieres tonight at the ArcLight Hollywood and our families are all in town for the big event. I have to say, this all feels super surreal and exciting and wonderful, but also–as far as Craig is concerned–well-deserved. He’s been working on this movie since I laid eyes on him over eight years ago at Joe, my favorite coffee shop on Waverly Street in New York. I’ll make sure to take lots of pictures from the premiere tonight, but in the meantime, check out the video above of Craig on Charlie Rose with Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig talking all about the movie. Oh, and wouldn’t this be a good time to buy your tickets for the weekend? Opens in New York and L.A. this Friday then expands to 50 more cities next week!

  1. Fate is telling me to see this movie: First, I see a shot from the film in EW of Kristin Wiig wearing my favorite crappy thermal from Target (that I wear ALL the time) and now I realize that YOUR Craig is the director/writer.

  2. I saw Skeleton Twins at the Nantucket Film Festival in June and it was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen! I hope there will be a Seattle premiere – I would love to see it again. Craig is a genius – but I always had the feeling he would be!

  3. I feel like a Skeleton Twins stalker… I cannot stop watching that trailer: I have tears in my eyes every time they do the lip sync…. Cannot wait to see this movie. It looks amazing and I am so happy for Craig’s success. Considering we have been watching the birth of this film via Adam’s amazing blog makes it feel like someone in the family has released this film – weird.
Anyway, if I didn’t have a family and busy kids, I would drop everything and make the long trek from the beach to the westside to see the film. Instead, I have to wait for general release.
Reviews are great (LA Times loved it) and that doesn’t always happen! So, for now, I will have to just read reviews and feedback about the film until I can see it.
    Bravo to Craig.
