Win 2 Tickets to the James Beard Taste America Gala in Las Vegas

Do you live near Las Vegas? Are you going to Vegas the weekend of October 25th? If so, you have a chance to win two tickets to the James Beard Taste America Gala at the Palazzo Resort Hotel and Casino on Saturday, October 25th. Some of the nation’s best chefs–Fabio Trabocchi from Fiamma in New York, Traci Des Jardins from Jardiniere in San Francisco, John Sundstrom from Lark in Seattle, along with many others (see full list here)–will cook you a four-course seated dinner with wine pairings, a meal valued at $350 a plate. The special guest? Legendary chef, Charlie Trotter.

To win two tickets to this event, merely do the following: leave your name and a valid e-mail address in the comments below. In a week, I’ll put your names into a hat and pull out a winner. It’s that simple. Good luck!

UPDATE: WE HAVE A WINNER, PLEASE NO MORE SUBMISSIONS. THANK YOU!

I love two things about today’s posting. Your new masthead and the chance to win tickets to that fabulous dinner in Las Vegas. Pull a trick on me, and make a set of those tickets become a real treat

  7. I’ve never won anything so this would be great. It has only been in the last couple of years that I started to enjoy cooking my problem is I need people to cook for.

  9. Not sure how else to contact you other than to comment here…

Would you consider removing this post (or just the comments) now that the contest is closed? It seems a little unsafe to have thes 236 full names and email adresses permanently posted to the internet.

    Thank you!
