Me on FoodTV

Guess what? I’m going to be a talking head on a Food Network pilot they’re shooting tomorrow. I can’t tell you anything about it or they’ll chop off my fingers, so suffice it to say if it goes to air I’ll give you a big heads up. Now for the hard part: whatever will I wear!? (Not green. I’ll be in front of a green screen, so I don’t want to be a floating head do I? Though that may be a promising FoodTV pilot in itself: Cooking With A Floating Head. Or Cooking With An Airhead. Wait, isn’t that the subtitle to Sandra Lee’s show? Snap!)

  1. Oh SNAP, in deed!

I agree wholeheartedly – that SHOULD be the subtitle of Sandra Lee’s show. Here’s hoping they wise up at The Food Network and replace her show with a show starring YOU! You’re my favorite!! I wish you had your own TV show!

  2. Dark blue is the most TV friendly color, but oh so yesterday. You’re from NY my man, wear black and represent! Although Park Slope may prep you out a bit ;-)

  3. Congrats on such an excellent opportunity! The general rules for TV are no white, no patterns, and nothing too bright unless used to accent. Good luck!

  4. Or Cooking With An Airhead. Wait, isn’t that the subtitle to Sandra Lee’s show? Snap!

This made me LOL, literally. Too true. (does it creep anyone else out that in each individual episode everything is color/theme coordinated?)

    Good luck!

  5. Adam………

I shake my head in wonder at your humor and I always know I’ll smile when I visit your site :)

    Someday I’ll say ” I knew him when !!

  6. Oh you little tease! I’ll look forward to seeing you on Food TV. And about Sandra, hey, you can’t fault a girl who always makes and drinks little foofie cocktails!

  7. That’s awesome! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you.

But I do like watching Sandra Lee’s show, she’s all sorts of eye candy.

  8. Wow! Congratulations! As a video blogger, I’d advise you to also avoid white in your wardrobe (white shirt). Although you can get away with it, the greenscreen *can* reflect off the white causing you to… disappear in post! Unless you think that sounds cool :)
