Gingerbread almost always sucks.

I came to the same conclusion when I made a batch from Scott Peacock’s Gift of Southern Cooking. Inedible, but not because it was flavorless. I took a bite and the ginger went on a rampage against my digestive track. I just can’t like bread that can kick my ass.
