    I guess we all have our own definitions and Chris from Glasgow is welcome to have his. But I beg to differ. I think an egg, whilst not compatible with a vegan diet, is fine if you’re vegetarian.

    An egg is almost universally defined as vegetarian. However, it is not vegan.

    I ate at Dirt Candy on Valentines day and loved every bit of it. It’s a tiny place, but they really try to take care of you. The wine list is really interesting and affordable. The aim of the place happens to be to produce great food first, and then be vegetarian second rather than the other way around for most veggie places in the city.
