Let's let Youtube entertain us before the weekend. The first video comes via Eater; watch this chef lose his cool on The Today Show:
Next up, it's the VGL Boys with, "The Fly." It's not really a food video, but I laughed as Cole described his Aunt's Brown Betty. Perhaps you will too--how do you like your hard sauce?
Finally, this video has nothing to do with food but ever since Ezra Klein posted it on his blog, the phrase "not funny" has become a staple for Craig and I--you have to say it like this kid. (In case you don't understand what's happening, the kid thinks he sees blood on his baby brother's face.)

That Today Show video is hilarious. He instantly became my favorite guest on that show.

Good for him! I'm glad he gave the hosts of the Today Show a piece of his mind. They always drive me crazy.

LOL! Oh. My. God.
First off, thank you so much for all the time you've spent on line looking at You Tube and finding the great clips so I don't have to. (I have a serious food blog addiction, I can't start up a You Tube habit for god's sake.) Those three videos were such gems. I'm still crying from laughing.
God, it's so good to see a NORMAL PERSON show the crazy TV folk just how crazy they are. Even if it is only for 10 seconds.
and, lastly, "Not Funny!"

I always get so stressed out watching people try to cook on shows like this, or on letterman what with dave eating sticks of butter and causing general chaos. It's so great to see someone take charge like that. Hilarious and so satisfying :)

That clip brought me way too much pleasure. I hate when they talk over people doing a demo. And I REALLY hate when the hosts mess with ingredients-- "Hahaha, I'm eating all your shredded cheese! Oh, I though the salt was premeasured, you meaning I shouldn't have dumped the whole crock in? Hahaha! I don't know how to cook and somehow that is very clever of me!"

The hosts of these morning shows know the chefs only have so much time to try to go through an entire recipe... bravo to Chef Sam for having the brass ones to tell them to quite down!! I love it! Take that Kathie Lee!
