I Party With Paula

While my colleagues are covering the folderol that is the James Beard Awards, I’m keeping my head high and covering a party of a different sort: Paula’s Party. Yes, I attended one of Paula’s parties–she was dressed as a stick of butter–and I conversed with the likes of Richard Simmons and Ana Gasteyer. You can see it all here:

You lucky dog you! I would LOVE to meet Paula. I’ve heard she is the REAL DEAL………nothing fake, pretentious, or anything unlike her television persona. Paula truly put the Food Network on the map!

  4. How special, she’s my Hero! Loved her book and will stop what I’m doing when she’s on the TV.

    You’re lucky

  5. Two things I want to say about the 2nd episode of “TNFNS” —

    1. When Adam (the contestant, not the host of this blog) jumped out of his bed when Robert Irvine woke everyone up with pots and pans, I think we might have been treated to a glimpse of “Little Adam” because Big Adam was only wearing boxer shorts.

    2. Was this episode filmed before Irvine was discovered to be lying about past things he had done (like bake a cake for Chuck & Di’s wedding), or after?

  6. I love this! Can we please make an Emily sandwich? Me in the middle and you and Paula on either side? Please? Pretty please? We can even be deep fried and dipped in sour cream!
