Yesterday was a big day for your friend The Amateur Gourmet. What happened? I can't tell you yet and it's not entirely clear what the future holds, but I promise to share more in January. Sorry for being a tease!
In the mean time, don't forget to donate to Menu For Hope IV. I noticed many of you bid on the dinner at Blue Hill at Stone Barns (UE01) but very few of you bid on an autographed copy of my book and an authentically made Amateur Gourmet pastry (UE02). What does that say about your allegiance, loyal reader? Must you stomp on my ego as you raise money for charity? Show a little compassion, will you? Happy holidays!

Maybe if you hadn't pimped your book so much when it first came out, more people would still be in need of a copy. =)

Thanks Hillary!
A TV show?! Adam, there's no way you can get a TV show this January because I will be out of the country and unable to watch it and that is just cruel. (Haha, just the thought is screwing with my grammar.)If that is true, however, in all seriousness, that's amazing and congratulations. Can't wait to hear what the news is!

I bid on the book, but the code isn't UE02, accd to the site. It's UE16 or something, can't remember the exact number. Sorry I didn't post about the error at the time, I sort of figured a bunch of people would catch it. I guess I'm lagging behind the rest of your fans in forking over $$ for the book. :) I'm halfway waiting for an SF book signing. Any chance of that? Otherwise, I'll click over to Amazon right after I don't win the book from Menu 4 Hope.
