A Trip to Spain?
October 9, 2006 | By Adam Roberts | 0 CommentsI’ve been offered a free trip to Spain if I get enough readers to pay $2700 each to come along with me. Now I’m a pleasant person, but even my own mother wouldn’t spend $2700 to spend a week with me. What you get for your $2700, apparently, is:
+ four nights in a double room at Masia Julià + all breakfasts, 5 lunches, 3
dinners (including one catered dinner in the house by Michelin star chef) +
regional wines with all our meals + all ground transportation (including
airport pickup and transfer to the countryside) + regional snacks and drinks
in the house + detailed pre-trip information packet + esentiatours cooking
apron + all gratuities + workshops mentioned below
workshops*:
+ two in-house Cooking classes
+ two wine tastings
+ visit to olive oil farm and tasting
+ market visits
+ bread-making
+ cheese making and “Harmonies of Wine and Cheese” workshop
+ jamón jabugo workshop
Airfare is NOT included so this would be a pricey trip, but I’m doing a post about it just in case there ARE people out there who WOULD pay that much. If you’re one of them, shoot me an e-mail (amateurgourmet AT gmail DOT com) and if I get enough e-mails maybe a trip to Spain is in the cards.
