Hearth: The Comic
April 16, 2005 | By Adam Roberts | 8 CommentsI just discovered this amazing new program for mac called Comic Life. You can use your iPhoto pics and make a comic strip! Have I discovered a new format for restaurant reviews and cooking adventures?
Perhaps. As an experiment, I just created a strip from our meal at Hearth last week. Check it out! (Click to make it bigger!)

It may be a novel format,.. but it isn’t very funny…
Love your site! Its so cool!
I tried downloading this program once, but my pc couldn’t read the file extension. Any ideas?
Neat, but don’t give up your day non-job.
Saffron, that’s cause it’s not for a Windows PC, it’s written for Apple Macs.
Jeez, a bunch of tough critics here. Well, I liked it.
Great potential! Have you seen Sin City yet? Imagine the possibilities!
It was a great idea, but when I clicked on it, it didn’t work. Maybe it doesn’t work for OS 9.2. Or maybe I need to update my stoneage iMac.
I like it. Functionally the bubbles the same as captions yet allow you to arrange the photos without text between them. You are a good food photographer, so if you would like to associate your comments and photos, good.
